Two engineers hijack a spaceship to join some space pirates-only to discover the pirates are hiding from a malevolent AI. Barron's delivery, though matter-of-fact in tone, makes the struggle completely believable and highly entertaining. Her delivery helps with character development as well as enhancing suspense.
